Your starting price already includes two hours.

It reserves your chosen ensemble for two hours, including contracting / payroll, studio rental if selected, and applicable portage or piano tuning.

Adding songs uses time already included in your estimate. The price stays the same while the session workload fits within two hours. Each paid hour provides 50 minutes of working time and 10 minutes off. Beyond the minimum, each 15-minute paid extension adds 12 minutes 30 seconds of working time and reserves 2 minutes 30 seconds for breaks. Choosing extra time, changing the ensemble or studio options, adding sessions, or changing applicable fees can also change the price.

Start with a template, then fine-tune the player counts below. More than 30 strings requires a separate Woodwind/Brass session. The default Full Orchestra has 26 strings and fits in one session.

Fine-tune your ensemble

Check a doubling option beneath the instrument to have one existing player also play that instrument. Checked: that player earns 1.25× the normal hourly rate for the booked session. Unchecked: no doubling premium. These options do not add players. Contracting applies to the resulting wages.
